DISCOVER SUMMER AT CIAMPAC!
14.06.2025 - 14.09.2025
In mid-June, the Ciampac lifts will reopen and another unforgettable summer season will begin, characterized as always by the wide offer of the area: breathtaking views, excursions and walks at high altitude, gastronomic proposals, thematic routes and activities for adults and children.
Here’s what you absolutely must not miss this summer:
1. SPECTACULAR VIEW OF THE DOLOMITES – Whatever your plan, from simply relaxing at high altitude or having lunch in a mountain refuge to a day with the family or a hike in the mountains, one thing is certain: looking around you will be speechless. The Ciampac basin is in fact surrounded by the majestic Dolomites, such as the wonderful Sella Group with the Piz Boè and the imposing Colac, and by the unmistakable Crepa Neigra, a small mountain of volcanic origin. Once you reach the highest point of Sella Brunech you can also admire the south face of the Marmolada, the Catinaccio Rosengarten massif and, exploring the area following the various paths, you can also enjoy unforgettable glimpses of the Sassolungo Group.
2. EXCURSIONS, VIE FERRATA AND HIGH-ALTITUDE WALKS – Ciampac is the starting point for numerous excursions and walks and offers a wide variety of itineraries, from the simplest ones, also suitable for families with small children, to the more challenging excursions that require greater attention and adequate physical preparation. More information here.
3. THEMATIC ROUTES – For the little ones there is the “Driver at Ciampac” route dedicated to the large mountain vehicles. From 6 years old and up the panoramic trail “On the tracks of Ciampy” awaits you to admire the beautiful ridges of Ciampac and make friends with our chamois. Then there is “The marmot trail” to find out more about these funny animals thanks to the illustrated booklet and the beautiful miniature scenes. And finally, two thematic routes dedicated to adults: the sensory journey “Out of the Box” and the wonderful wooden works of art that make up “The seated path”. More information on the dedicated page by clicking here.
4. WEEKLY ACTIVITIES – On Mondays and Fridays the guide will accompany you “Looking for marmots” in search of these friendly high mountain animals and their dens. On Tuesdays you can choose whether to take part in a panoramic tour of the Val di Fassa together with a local mountain guide or to join an integral yoga lesson in the Ciampac basin. On Wednesday morning the guided excursion “On the chamois’ trail” will be offered to discover the uncontaminated nature of Crepa Neigra and its surroundings, whereas in the afternoon the activity “The animal friends of Ciampac” will be organized, a short route in stages for families to visit the small farm of the Tobià del Giagher refuge and learn more about the animals of the area. Every Thursday, instead, you can participate in the activities “The magic of butter”, a small manual workshop related to the tradition of the churn, and “Beekeper for a day”, a meeting for families dedicated to bees and honey production. But that’s not all, there will also be other events! All the unmissable activities and events of the summer can be found on the “Events & Activities” page.
5. CIAMPARK PLAYGROUND – Play area at high altitude with beautiful wooden games, immersed in a fairytale landscape. Slides and swings but also truly original games: bowling, hand mini golf, giant Connect Four, memory and enormous puzzles, a dragon-shaped ball track and much more. With a short walk you can also reach the stream where you can find the precious stones using sieves! Click here to find out more.
6. GASTRONOMIC PROPOSALS – The wide summer offer of Ciampac will be enriched as always by the gastronomic proposals of the four mountain refuges in the area, all reachable in a few minutes on foot from the mountain station of the cable car. At the restaurants you will find the tasty dishes of the Ladin and Trentino tradition but also game specialties, local products and delicious fish dishes.
