Circus and live music performance by Pirouette Ensemble in "Approdi"

Pirouettes Ensemble is a contemporary circus-theater company. The company's artistic vision blends juggling, acrobatics, music, and theater, creating a unique and dynamic language that transcends the confines of traditional circus and theater.

“Approdi” is a tangle of stories, a colourful plot redolent of spices and distant aromas. A tale of journeys and encounters, of unfurled sails, barrels and crates, of seas and markets. Each thread leads to the shore, all converge where the dry becomes wet, where footsteps merge. There are those who risk, those who wait, those who say goodbye, those who land.

A show lasting about 40 minutes in which sea overlaps land and distances are bridged with incredible stories, smiles, the rhythm of live music, and jumps that transcend oceans. The artists of the Pirouettes Ensemble company, protagonists of the show but also of its creation, transform themselves into sailors, cabin boys, captains, boatswains, bakers, and swindlers. They are characters with different histories, languages, and desires, and together they form a crew that sets out on a journey.
