MET ENDURO WORLD SERIES VAL DI FASSA

2019 marks the debut of Canazei as the only Italian leg of the Enduro World Series. The location has been showing itself off during the years, hosting several top level competitions of the Superenduro Italia, EWS Qualifier and EWS European circuits.EWS is the most important circuit of the enduro mountain bike discipline, where the best bikers and speed specialists compete in one of the most important "riding destinations" in the world, such as Whistler (Canada), Northstar (California), Zermatt (Switzerland), Madeira (Portugal). The MET Val di Fassa Enduro World Series takes place on June 29 and will be the fourth appointment of the EWS 2019 season. Canazei and the Dolomites, Unesco Word Heritage, are certainly the perfect "venue" for this kind of "off-road" adventures: waving webbings on uncovered tracks, never-before-seen single trails by the Bike Resort at Belvedere,which develop through high altitude meadows and conifer woods, in a very uncommon exchange of tracks and sceneries. These elements represent an abslolute news for many athletes. The competition will take place on a ring, with long and demanding timed descents are introudced by ascending transfers. The Italian helmet producer MET will have a leading role not only during the event, but also during the whole summer season, as official provider of the organizing Fassa Bike staff and as promoter of other important events.
