LAGO PIAN DA MUR:THE JEWEL AMONG THE DOLOMITES
CANAZEI 1450 m – COL DEI ROSSI 2382 m – PIAN DA MUR LAKE 2064 m
From Canazei or Alba, the lifts comfortably take you up to Col dei Rossi, a spectacular panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Dolomites. From here, a pleasant and easy walk leads to Pian da Mur Lake, a newly created water reservoir set in a landscape of remarkable beauty.
Here, the view opens onto a unique setting: the majestic Sassolungo Group and Piz Ciavazes frame the scenery, offering unforgettable emotions and breathtaking panoramas. A true “d’Amur” location, designed to make you fall even more in love with the Dolomites.
For the return, you can either continue downhill to Canazei (about 1 h 30’ on foot) or follow the signs back to Pecol.
