Just 5 minutes from the arrival of the cable car, you will find the Ciampac ski school area, where the Canazei Marmolada Ski School organises private and group lessons in skiing and snowboarding, as well as a blue slope, perfect for families and beginners.
The skiarea also features five red slopes and two black runs: the Sella Brunech black variant and the renowned Ciampac black slope. And for those who want to test themselves, at the Sasso di Rocca ski lift there is also a timed course with free access.

In addition to skiing, at Ciampac it is also possible to go snowshoeing. At an altitude of 2100 metres, a circular snowshoe route of about 3 kilometres awaits you, immersed in a fairytale landscape with wooden bridges and spectacular views of the Sella Group and Piz Boé. For those who prefer to snowshoe in this magical place accompanied by a guide, a group snowshoe hike every Wednesday and Friday is organised, and there is also the opportunity to take part in guided afternoon snowshoe hikes followed by a generous aperitif at sunset.

For all ski enthusiasts who are curious to discover the secrets of the snowmaking sector and snowcats, the appointment is with the activity “Behind the Scenes of Skiing”.
Preparing an entire skiarea for the winter season and keeping the slopes in excellent condition requires a great deal of commitment, passion and experience. This is exactly what the Ciampac team will explain during this activity, which also includes a tasty aperitif in a mountain hut.

Ciampac has everything you need to spend a wonderful day in the snow with your family. For the little ones, just 5 minutes from the mountain station of the cable car and close to the ski school area, there is the high-altitude playground Ciampark, featuring wooden games and a small slope with free access for fun snow slides. The offer is completed by a moving sidewalk for taking the first steps on skis, which can also be used independently to teach your children this beautiful sport.

The Ciampac black slope, also known as the “pista del bosco”, is one of the most popular in Val di Fassa and certainly among the most challenging slopes in the area. With a length of about 2.2 km, this black run descends to the village of Alba, features an average gradient of 32% and reaches a maximum slope of 56%. Along this track, Alberto Tomba often trained and also won the European Cup race at Ciampac in 1988. In short, a slope you simply have to try at least once in your life!
