One of the most beautiful descents in the entire Val di Fassa. After a sunny start, you ski surrounded by woods, while the view opens up first onto the Catinaccio and then onto the rest of the valley. The slope alternates between fast sections and gentler slopes, offering ever-changing views. A pleasant and enjoyable descent, which also leaves room for some more adrenaline-fuelled passages. The finish is right next to the start of the ski lifts, so you'll be ready to go again in no time!

At Buffaure, the lights never go out. During the day, it is a centre of excellence reserved for technical training, but Aloch is the only slope in Val di Fassa that opens its doors to the public at night two evenings a week. Fully lit, it allows you to enjoy the evocative experience of skiing under the stars and feel like a champion for a night, as you glide through the silence and test yourself on its daring slopes.

Two kilometres and over 500 metres of elevation gain for this slope, which is the most direct route down to the valley. With an average gradient of over 30 per cent, reaching almost 58 per cent in some places, it is a challenging run even for the most experienced and demanding skiers. In addition to its technical characteristics, this slope, whose name recalls the volcanic origin of Buffaure, will also win you over with its beautiful view of Cima Dodici and Cima Undici.

Skiing at Buffaure not only offers you unique views, but also the opportunity to admire them against the backdrop of splendid land art works, all created in large dimensions with natural materials by the artist Franz Avancini. A pack of five wolves, a fearsome bregostana, an eagle made from more than 220 reclaimed larch boards... but also panoramic benches adorned with graceful butterfly or dragonfly wings, and giant deckchairs on which to rest between one descent and another.

Buffaure is also hospitality: four mountain huts where you can enjoy an aperitif, a tasty snack with traditional Ladin dishes or a hot drink. You can choose between the sunny terrace of El Zedron at 2,354 metres, the panoramic tables at Baita Cuz (where you can also sleep in a splendid suite with sauna), the more traditional style of the Buffaure Mountain Hut (where you can also stay overnight) or the more modern style of the new Chalet la Bolp. At the bottom of the slopes, you will also find the refined Dolomites Geyser, a popular meeting place for après-ski in Pozza di Fassa.
