Sass Pordoi 2950 - High-Altitude Flavours
February 23, 2027 from 4.45 pm
Climb to the rooftop of the Dolomites — the 2,950-metre Sass Pordoi — and take in a breathtaking panorama. Waiting for you at high altitude is a delicious farm-to-table aperitif dinner, straight from the producer to your table.
The location? An exclusive spot in the Dolomites where, if you’re lucky, you can admire a 360° view over the most iconic UNESCO peaks, from the Sella Group to the Marmolada. A unique opportunity not to be missed… or rather, to be taken by cable car!
Programme
- 4:45 p.m. – Meeting point at the Belvedere lift station in Canazei (no skis required), where the shuttle will be waiting.
- 5:00 p.m. – All aboard! The shuttle will take you to the Sass Pordoi cable car station.
- 05:30 p.m. – Up we go! Take the cable car to the famous Sass Pordoi, almost 3,000 metres high. Dress warmly and enjoy the ride!
- From 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. – Altin and the staff of Rifugio Maria are waiting for you for a rich, narrated aperitif-style dinner “Made in Val di Fassa”, together with the producers. Between one tasting and the next, don’t forget to look outside: if you are lucky, as is often the case, you will enjoy the magic of the sunset, the famous Enrosadira, with views from one of the most beautiful terraces in the Alps, stretching 360° over the most famous Dolomite peaks. The evening will be enriched by cured meats from Felicetti Speck and Trentino grappas from the Istituto Tutela Grappa del Trentino: a grappa-based cocktail will accompany the aperitif, while after the meal it will be time to enjoy the spirit neat, paired with a sweet treat prepared by the refuge.
- 07:30 p.m. – Return to the valley by cable car, followed by the shuttle back to the village. You will be in Canazei around 08:15 p.m.
